Shinto shrine is called "Kami" in Japanese.
The Mikoshi is carried at a "Matsuri"(Japanese festival).

Maturi
"Maturi" is a Japanese festival. People bear "Mikoshi" on their shoulders and carry it around the neighborhoods. It's one of the great Japanese cultures.
